LITTLE BEAR RECORDS
This Austin, Texas based record company was officially established in 2000, and has since grown dramatically. As an independent label, we pride ourselves on our eclectic group of extremely talented musicians. Our artists’ diverse styles, ranging from contemporary folk and Irish 'roots' to modern pop and Native American, all come together to create this amazing amalgamation of truly creative and beautiful works.

THE ARTISTS
SARAH PIERCE: Sarah has been developing and perfecting her voice and music since she was a young girl growing up on cattle ranches from Colorado to Texas. Though her roots are country, her musical style has since evolved into a mixture of contemporary folk, rock, jazz, and blues. Sarah has a very strong sense of her music and her career, which absolutely shows through in her various recorded works (shown below) and powerful live shows.

“Sarah Pierce has a most impressive instrument, as they say.
Potent of force and certainly no stranger to nuance.” -Los Angeles Times

It Must be Christmas Time
New Release—A beautiful ten song collection celebrating the blessings of Christmas and yet so much more. Including five 'instant classics' penned by Sarah, “It Must Be Christmas Time” is being called her very best effort yet.
Love’s The Only Way
Sarah’s newest album will be released in March, 2004. This record is Sarah’s finest work to date. Though it does have elements of the “contemporary folk” style present in her previous work, this new album also blends a heavier pop/rock flavor with elegant blues and jazz undertones, and, as always, Sarah’s undeniable voice.

Birdman
Released in 2000, this is Sarah’s third cd, following “West Texas Wind” and “No Place Like Home.” Upbeat, percussive pop songs, beautiful ballads, and crisp harmonies make “Birdman” a delight from beginning to end.
The Buttercup Princess
Released in 2000, this is Sarah’s first, but not last, children's record. This “sleepy time record” is a wonderful collection of whimsical children's songs that adults will also enjoy. Sarah donates her proceeds from this record to the Ronald McDonald House Charities Worldwide.
No Place Like Home
Released on Little Bear Records in 1995, No Place Like Home was digitally re-mastered and subsequently re-released in 2000. Sarah’s follow-up album to the more country “West Texas Wind,” “No Place Like Home” does retain some of Sarah’s country roots. However, it also explores a side of Sarah’s voice and music that have become her signature style.
West Texas Wind
Sarah’s first album, released in 1991 from Little Bear Records. Now available on cassette, this album truly shows Sarah’s country roots.
TERRY CLARKE : An Irishman raised in Reading, England, Clarke has been hailed as the next Van Morrison. Clarke’s music is a diverse mixture of Irish roots music and contemporary folk. Clarke creates his masterful works on contemporary 12-string country and folk guitar, and is known as one of the UK’s leading songwriters and solo performers.

“Terry Clarke's music is a bewitching mix of Irish and American influences” -The Daily Express (Birmingham, England)

Green Voodoo
Terry’s latest album, to be released in the US for the first time in 2004 on Little Bear Records. With this album, Terry has created a style of music that could be called “Celticana"...a marriage of his ancestral Irish roots with his passion for the American south.
Shelly River
An ode to Terry’s Irish heritage, this album was re-released in 2001 in the UK to great acclaim. With this record in particular, Terry lets his talent of skillful song writing and vivid storytelling shine, through his haunting voice and elegant guitar stylings.
WILLY WHITEFEATHER : Along with being an expert outdoorsman, river rafter, backwoods guide, and flutist, Willy is also an honorary chief of the Black Creek Cherokee of Florida. Willy currently lives in southern Arizona and frequently conducts workshops with students and teachers about survival in the outdoors. His two books, Willy Whitefeather's Outdoor Survival Handbook For Children and Willy Whitefeather's River Book For Kids are both best sellers and have already been credited with saving the life of more than one child lost in the wilderness.

“Entertaining and informative handbook that give children (and adults) the confidence and knowledge they need to survive outdoors...this book takes a no-nonsense approach to wilderness survival...you really can't go wrong with this book" -Library Talk

A CD for Peace
Released on Little Bear Records in 2002. Willy sets his campfire talks to the sound of his flute and gives the word "storytelling" a new meaning.
